"If I were being mugged and had to choose whether to hand over my
wallet or my Rolodex file, it would be no contest. Losing my
wallet is inconvenient, scary, expensive, and a pain in the back
pocket. But losing my Rolodex file would be devastating. I can
replace all my credit cards and I can live without a few dollars. But the information I've gathered over the years - now that's irreplaceable."

Rolodex Marketing
What would
happen if you had a systematic approach
to keeping in touch in a postitive and
meaningful way that was tailored to you
and your business. What if you never
missed a birthday, or
anniversary. What if you had a system
for consistently letting others know them you appreciate them and all
that they do for you and your business. Do you think they might buy from you? Do you
think they will remain loyal to you? Do you think they
might refer their friends and associates to you?
"The benefit I see is the ability to stay top of mind with
clients. Being top of mind helps lead to better sales and referrals. The
ease of the system allows me to stay in touch in a much more consistent
manner."

Virtually every sales and
marketing expert teaches that building better relationships is the best way to
increase sales and referrals. Yet most business owners and professionals
invest the majority of their time and resources chasing down new customers -
only to forget them once the sale is made. Does the expression “out of sight
– out of mind” sound familiar? When you don't continuously stay in touch
with your clients they are wide open to the offers and incentives your
competition puts in front of them.
That's
what Touch-Point
Marketing Services and Rolodex Marketing is all about -- helping you build
meaningful and profitable relationships.
In the book "How
To Swim with the Sharks without getting Eaten Alive".
Harvey Mackay says, "You can predict the
size of someone's income by looking at the size of his or her
Rolodex."
Have you ever noticed that the most successful people are also the most 'Well-Connected' people you will ever meet?
Most successful people can get anything done with a quick phone call, because they 'Know Someone'. They have a large Rolodex and they have relationships with those in their Rolodex.
It's not just about
building a large rolodex -- it's about
building a large rolodex of quality contacts
and quality relationships with those contacts.
My goal
is to help you systematically build a large
rolodex of quality contacts, that continuously
support you in your business. I call this
system "Rolodex Marketing"
Core Elements of Rolodex

- Daily Plan of Action
Personal
Rolodex (Contact Manager)
Virtually every sales and marketing expert teaches that building better
relationships is the best way to increase sales and referrals. Yet most
businesses and professionals fail to invest the time or resources necessary to
do this. Instead, they invest most of their time and resources focusing on
making the sale – while ignoring the relationships they have with clients,
friends and associates.
Harvey Mackay, author of How to Swim with the Sharks Without Getting
Eaten Alive, says "You can predict the size of someone's income by
looking at the size of his or her Rolodex." The size of the Rolodex is not
a result of the income. The income is a result of the size of the Rolodex.Take
the time to build a large Rolodex of quality contacts and foster quality
relationships with those contacts and watch your business grow.
Action Plans
& Campaigns
An Action Plan is used to
put your follow-up on autopilot. It could be a simple thank-you card or it
could consist of a series of steps that includes cards, phone calls, emails, face-to-face meetings, post cards and other value based communications. See
examples:
A Campaign is a pre-defined series of cards that
keeps your name in front of the people in your rolodex in a positive, meaningful way. You
can pre-schedule a
campaign of cards to go out on specific dates. For example, send a
new customer a thank-you card along with a series of follow-up cards. There
are two types of campaigns, relationship
building campaigns and business
building campaigns.
A full-time income
usually comes from 8 hours of work a day and 40 hours of work a week. Many business
owners and professionals spend 60
or 70 hours a week in building their business. By
implementing a Daily Action Plan that focuses on the activities that are critical
to building quality relationships you can
generate a full-time income in half the
time that you are currently working.
So What
Does This Do For Me?
By continuously adding quality contacts to your rolodex and then
building and
keeping strong relationships with the people in your
network sales and referrals flow in with
much less effort and cost.
